Objective
Crit-Rate is a gaming review, recommendation, and community website eight years in the making. The objective is to build a platform where personalized gaming recommendations can be delivered to the users and create an environment where like-minded gamers can come together to discuss and share their gaming experiences with each other.
Role
I was with the company since its inception in 2015 and contributed across a wide-range of projects. Main focuses were:
Creative project management of the website, marketing initiatives, and on-site activations.
Gaming personality test development including research, copywriting, programming, testing, and data management/reporting.
On-air personality for 300+ episodes of Crit-Rate's gaming focused podcast.
Description
The Crit-Rate website was created with four critical components that will allow it to meet the objective:
Gaming personality test which sorts you into one of our five Gamer Houses based on your results.
Personalized gaming recommendations for every user.
Gamer House pages where users can see cumulative recommendations from other House members.
Discussion boards where users can post questions, topics, and recommendations to engage with other users.
